OVERVIEW of Mylar Heat Shrink Tubing

Mylar Heat Shrink Tubing ( 2:1 Shrink Ratio) is an easy to use product that works well for high temperature and electrical insulation, for protection, or even as replacement for tape. It is suitable for hand or machine application. No costly shrinking equipment is necessary. The polyester tubing is spiral wound to most diameters and lengths. As a high dielectric insulation material, the shrinkable tubing makes a tight, smooth protective covering even in tight spaces. Mylar heat shrink tubing is shrinkable by as much as 50 percent of its diameter.
