OVERVIEW of Kytec® PVDF |
Kytec® PVDF is an ultra pure fluoropolymer suited for harsh chemical, thermal, and ultraviolet environments. Resistant to most acids, bases, and organic solvents and is ideally suited for handling wet or dry chlorine, bromine and other halogens. Kytec® PVDF is typically used in semiconductor, petrochemical, and nuclear industries.
Effective September 9, 2021, Vycom has discontinued the production of Kytec® PVDF products. Limited availability of existing stock will be sold-off and customers should switch to other brands of PVDF. Fortunately, Professional Plastics offers PVDF from several other suppliers, so a steady supply of PVDF will continue to be available to our customers.
