OVERVIEW of Simona® PVC VS-1 - FM 4910
SIMONA® PVC VS-1 PVC VS-1 is a fire-safe PVC material which is FM 4910 listed at .250" thickness and above. It is made from PVC, similar to Type I, but formulated for better fire retardancy.
The semiconductor and electronics industry demands sophisticated, controlled processing environments to ensure a high level of quality in its valuable goods. Manufacturing areas and cleanrooms are designed to be virtually free of contamination at every stage of production. After all, the investments made are considerable: billion-dollar wafer fabrication plants, multi dollar tooling and expensive work in process and finished goods. MINIMUM THICKNESS IS .250" - FOR SHEETS THINNER THAN .250", USE CRP-1
- VSI is the historic SIMONA branded PVC FM4910 material.
-CRP1 is the historic Laminations branded FM4910 PVC material is now our leading material due to its bright white color (and color consistency) and high surface gloss.
- Both materials meet FM4910, but CRP1 outperforms VS1 in terms of aesthetics and chemical resistance.

The national Fire Protection Association Underwriters Laboratories Inc. and Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International are among the influential groups addressing products performance specifications and standards.

For any content that you submit, you grant Professional Plastics a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and/or distribute such content and/or incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world without compensation to you.
