OVERVIEW of T-Kore Structural Composite Sheet |
T-Kore is a 3 layer thermoplastic structured sheet with exceptionally good high-temperature performance, It has high tensile strenth combined with high impact strength and stiffness, excellent fabricating performance, good ductility and low temprature properties. In addition to superior mechanical properties, T-Kore resists thermal distortion and resists many chemicals.
Colors:
T-Kore is available in standard black and blue colors. Other colors are available with minimum or special order quantities. Colored panels have a black core and blank bottom skin. T-Kore has a haircell texture on the top and bottom surfaces.
Finishing:
With conventional fabricating tools, it is possible to machine, saw, drill, route and gring these panels. Paints can be applied. Performance paints formulated for plastics must be used. As long as proper procedures are followed, this material can be joined to other materials, or itself, by adhesive bonding, ultrasonic welding and by mechanical fasteners such as staples and rivets.
