Nylatron® SLG-FDA PA6 (formerly known as; Nylatron® LFG) Lubricated Food Grade Nylon - Available in Natural (Ivory) or Blue (PA 6 + oil). Nylatron® SLG-FDA PA6
is self-lubricating in the real meaning of the word, and has a FDA food contact compliant composition. Nylatron® SLG-FDA PA6 has been specially developed for non-lubricated, highly loaded and slowly moving parts in food contact applications. Compared to standard cast nylons, it offers lower maintenance costs and longer service life.

MCAM-Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products (MCAM-Quadrant EPP) announces a brand change within its
Nylatron® product family effective immediately:
Formerly known Nylatron® LFG now becomes Nylatron® SLG-FDA PA6.
MCAM-Quadrant's well-established Nylatron® LFG brand ("Lubricated Food Grade") will continue under the
new Nylatron® SLG-FDA PA6 ("Self-Lubricated Grade") product name in North America.
The change is based on the increasingly frequent confusion concerning the MCAM-Quadrant "Food Grade"
group of products and global compliance. This group, which has meanwhile become well-known
under the abbreviation "FG", has been specifically developed to meet the requirements of the USFDA
(United States Food & Drug Administration) for food contact. Nylatron SLG-FDA is clearly branded to
remove doubt of compliance. We feel this is critical at MCAM-Quadrant, as regional and global compliance
continues to evolve and become more stringent and complex.
This is solely a name change and will not affect the property, color, formula or performance of
Nylatron SLG-FDA PA6.

You agree to indemnify and hold Professional Plastics (and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures, employees and third-party service providers), harmless from all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of a breach of your representations and warranties set forth above, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
For any content that you submit, you grant Professional Plastics a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and/or distribute such content and/or incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world without compensation to you.
All content that you submit may be used at Professional Plastics's sole discretion. Professional Plastics reserves the right to change, condense or delete any content on Professional Plastics' website that Professional Plastics deems, in its sole discretion, to violate the content guidelines or any other provision of these Terms of Use. Professional Plastics does not guarantee that you will have any recourse through Professional Plastics to edit or delete any content you have submitted. Ratings and written comments are generally posted within two to four business days. However, Professional Plastics reserves the right to remove or to refuse to post any submission for any reason.
