Sanatec™ Lite is 1/3 Less Weight than Solid Sanatec Cutting Boards due to it's Foamed Core. This material is a lower-cost alternative to other cutting board materials. It's closed / small cell structure is non absorbent, and is protected by a solid skinned surface.
Sanatec™ Lite is available in NATURAL Color Only with a MATTE Finish. This material is available in .375", .500" x .750" thicknesses
Note: This product is NOT as durable as standard solid Sanatec Cutting Boards.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS of Sanatec™ Lite |
Non-porous rigid polymer sheet is made from 98% high density polyethylene (HDPE) resin and 2% foaming agent, produced utilizing co-extrusion technology that allows for solid outer surfaces with a foamed core. The sheet has a high density top surface with almost no surface porosity making it easy to clean, preventing moisture absorbency, bacteria and odor retention, peeling, cracking or chipping and is dishwasher safe. It is 1/3 less weight than solid HDPE representing the opportunity for cost savings. It meets FDA, USDA, and NSF requirements for food use. The sheet comes in one color; natural, in the following sheet sizes 4 x 8 ft (1.21 x 2.43 m), 4 x 10 ft (1.21 x 3.04 m), 5 x 10 ft (1.52 x 3.04 m) with a thickness range of 3/8 in - 3/4 in (9.5 mm - 19.05 mm). Applications are for food preparation cutting boards for commercial or residential use.
