— Professional Plastics offers a full-range of Impact-Resistant Plastic Materials for demanding applications. These products include Anti-Ballistic Transparent materials such as Hygard® BR Polycarbonate, and Acrylite® Securus™ Acrylic for security glazing, and Opaque materials such as Micarta ShotBlocker®, & GlasArmor™. phenolics, and more.

Of course, not all impact-resistant materials are designed for ballistic protection. We also offer materials designed to absorb impact , reduce impact shock, and provide long-term protection for surfaces that are vulnerable to wear. These materials include products such as Nylatron® MD, Tivar® UHMW, HDPE and Polyurethane. Some materials offer transparency and basic impact-resistance at a lower price point such as Tuffak® GP Polycarbonate and Durplex® Impact Modified Acrylic.
