— Medical face shields, masks and other protective gear is made from clear plastic sheets and films from Professional Plastics. This includes both flexible and rigid masks utilized in hospital surgical rooms, trauma centers, and emergency rooms, as well as, urgent care facilities and outpatient centers. Face sheilds are also used in dental and orthodontic settings.

Masks made from these materials are safe, economical, and effective for direct spray protection from airborne droplets. These face shields are typically used along with N95 and other grades of masks. Professional Plastics does not sell finished masks or any kind. We are a supplier of plastic sheets and films such as polycarbonate and PETG used for medical, dental and many other applications.

In light of the coronavirus, we are also seeing a significant jump in demand for acrylic sheets for "spit shields". Convenience stores , pharmacies & other public sites are using these shields to protect workers from spray and airborne spread of the virus. Acrylic is easily cleaned (with warm soap & water), transparent (for easy visibility), and 50% the weight of glass. It is also easily fabricated and installed on-site. Professional Plastic can provide cut-to-size panels shipped directly to your facility. For customers who require panels that will be transported, and handled regularly, we also offer hard-coated acrylic sheet that provides all of the prior benefits, in addition to, added chemical & scratch resistance.
